Levada do Poio


Gegend: Rosario/Sao Vicente

Madre: Ribeira da Vargem N 32°46.398 W 17°01.835 ca. 354 M.ü.M.

Verlauf: Die Madre in der Ribeira da Vargem ist schlecht zugänglich, sie besteht aus einer Staustufe, die das Wasser in die westliche Stützmauer führt und dieser entlang bis zur Kreuzung mit der VE4 und ein kurzes Stück dieser entlang auf der linken Strassenseite und dann unter der einmündenden Nebenstrasse verrohrt bis in die ersten Weinberge.
Dann folgt eine Rohrbrücke über den Bach und ab hier oberhalb der VE4. Hier wird das Wasser zunächst in einem Becken gesammelt und führt dann durch die Schlucht der Ribeira dos Agrioes ou Seca bis nach Feiteiras. Ab hier oberhalb der neuen Kirche von Feiteiras bis ans Ende der kultivierten Felder.

Ende: Feiteiras ca. 250 M.ü.M.

Länge: ca. 3.2 km

Bauzeit:

Funktion: Lokale Bewässerung im Bereich von Feiteiras

Zugang:

- VE4 unterhalb der Madre
- Weg von der ER208 nach Ginjas
- Strassen und Gassen in Feiteiras

Zustand: Die Levada ist relativ einfach zu begehen. In der Schlucht sollte man schwindelfrei sein.

Bemerkungen: Die Levada kann im Rahmen einer Rundtour als Alternative zu Strassenabschnitten begangen werden
