18.06.2024 Rocha Vermelha, eine meiner Lieblingslevadas

Anfahrt: Calheta - Paul da Serra - Fanalstrasse

Verlauf: Heute mal ganz alleine unterwegs auf einer meiner Lieblingslevadas, zwar nicht zum ersten Mal, aber hier bin ich immer wieder gerne unterwegs.
Gestartet am Wanderausstellplatz an der Fanalstrasse, zuerst über die Palha Carga auf die 25-Quellen-Levada bis zum Wasserfall, und dann so rasch als möglich weg auf die Levada da Rocha Vermelha, beim Levadahaus gegen die Fliessrichtung bis zur neu gestalteten alten Madre, Aufstieg auf dem neu erstellten Wanderweg zum PR 13, auf diesem zurück zum Ausgangspunkt.

Distanz: 18.5 Km, 604 Hm Aufstieg, 604 Hm Abstieg

Start: 09.05 Fanalstrasse

Ende: 14.15 Fanalstrasse

Zustand: Für die ganze Wanderung sind Trittsicherheit und Schwindelfreiheit nötig
Die Runde besteht nur aus offiziellen PRs, aber hier trifft man sehr wenige Wanderer

Bemerkungen: Schöne Runde im einsamen Teil des Rabaçal-Gebietes
