10.06.2022 Anstrengende Einstiegswanderung im Norden



Datum: 10.06.2022

Anfahrt: Calheta - Boaventura - Lamaceiros

Verlauf: Von der Kreuzung mit der Levada das Faias gegen die Fliessrichtung entlang der Levada bis zum Abzweig des Verbindungsweges nach oben.
Teilweise ziemlich steil zuerst über alte Felder, dann im Wald bis zur Levada dos Tornos.
Auf dieser bis zm Levadahaus, kurzer Besuch des Wasserfalles und des Tunneleinganges
Abstieg auf der Piste und Aufstieg auf dem Moquinhas zum Canarioweg.
Auf diesem Abstieg zur Boca das Voltas und weiter auf dem im unteren Teil mirakulös gereinigten Saumpfad (Vorbereitung für die Festa das Sopas-Wanderung) zur Levada das Faias
Auf dieser wieder gegen die Fliessrichtung zurück zum Ausgangspunkt.

Distanz: 13.8 Km, 750 Hm Aufstieg, 750 Hm Abstieg

Start: 10.50 Lamaceiros

Ende: 18.05 Lamaceiros

Zustand: Die Levada das Faias ist eigentlich problemlos zu gehen, sie ist aber teilweise schmal.
Der Aufstieg zur Levada dos Tornos ist teilweise steil und wäre im Abstieg ziemlich rutschig.
Der Moquinhas-Aufstieg ist zu Beginn mit Baumstämmen zugemüllt, man kommt aber relativ gut darüber/unten durch/daneben vorbei. Dann wird er kontinuierlich steiler, ist aber gut zu gehen
De Abstieg von der Boca das Voltas ist eigentlich per se schon gut unterhalten, die Radikalreinigung war hier vielleicht etwas too much.

Bemerkungen: Die steilen Aufstiege sind schweisstreibend, Aussichten eigentlich nur von der Levada dos Tornos und der Boca das Voltas
