Levada da Pedreira


Gegend: Serra de Água

Madre: Ribeira da Fajã das Éguas N 32°44.29 W 17°02.079 ca. 720 M.ü.M.

Verlauf: Von der Madre unterhalb eines schönen Wasserfalles zuerst ziemlich zugemüllt und verrohrt dem südwestlichen und westlichen Talhang der Ribeira da Fajã das Éguas entlang. Eine ziemlich ausgesetzte Stelle mit Geländern, hier wird die Levada über einen kurzen Wasserfall vertikal geführt, diese Stelle kann lokal umgangen werden.
Kurz vor Ende nochmals etwas ausgesetzt, auch hier führt ein Wasserfall zwischen den Felsen auf das untere Niveau, das ebenfalls über eine Umgehung ein paar Meter vor dem Wasserfall umgangen werden kann. Kurz vor Erreichen der charakteristischen 3 Ställe oberhalb von Eira da Moura wird die Levada über einen Geländedurchbruch auf die Westseite des Lombos geleitet, dort befindet sich das Sammelbecken der Levada.

Zugang:

- Von der Piste nach Fajã das Éguas gibt es jetzt offensichtlich eine neue Piste zur Madre und über den Bach
- Pfad von Eira da Moura

Zustand: Die Madre ist über eine bereits wieder halbwegs zerstörte Piste vom grossen Trinkwasserreservoir in Faja das Eguas zu erreichen, allenfalls auch von der Brücke weiter unten im Bach.
Meist ziemlich schmal und in steilem Gelände, teilweise auch ausgesetzt und mit Geländer gesichert
