12.08.2021 Faja Pequena und Grande über die Vereda do Pesqueiro und die Vereda da Faja Grande

Anfahrt: Canico - Ribeira Brava - Ponta do Pargo (Lombadinha)

Verlauf: Gestartet sind wir in Lombadinha an der ER101, gleich wie bei unserer Wanderung 2015. Auf dem Feldweg bis zur Klippe und dort auf der Vereda do Pesqueiro Abstieg bis zu den Höhlen und Unterkünften der Fischer an der Faja Pequena.
Querung über den Strand zur Faja Grande und Aufstieg auf der Vereda da Faja Grande zum Miradouro do Fio.
Zurück auf Feldwegen zum Ausgangspunkt.

Distanz: 8.8 Km, 520 Hm Aufstieg, 520 Hm Abstieg

Start: 11.20 Lombadinha

Ende: 16.40 Lombadinha

Zustand:

Die Vereda do Pesqueiro ist breit und gleichmässig steil, im unteren Bereich hat es ein paar Geländer, ist aber ungefährlich
Der Strandabschnitt wie üblich weglos auf mittelgrossen Steinen, wer das nicht gerne hat, sollte es nicht machen
Die Vereda da Faja Grande ist zum Teil sehr steil, schmaler und an mehreren Stellen mit Geländern gesichert, das ist auch nötig, weil viele Abschnitte ziemlich ausgesetzt sind, lieber hoch als runter und lieber nicht im Hochsommer, die Sonne brennt unerbittlich an die Klippen

Bemerkungen: Spannende relativ kurze Runde, ich würde sie auf jeden Fall in dieser Richtung empfehlen
