14.09.2018 Die Abschlussrunde über die Bisse de Salins und die Grand Bisse de Vex

Anfahrt: Réchy - Champsec - Vex - La Vernaz

Verlauf: Start in La Vernaz und Einstieg beim Ende des oberen Endastes der Bisse de Salins, auf dieser bis zur Fassung an der Printse in Plan Désert
Aufstieg auf der steilen Strasse vorbei an den Fassungen der Bisse d'En Bas (oder Bisse de Dessous) und der Bisse de Milieu nach Planchouet zur Fassung der Grand Bisse de Vex, vorbei an der wuderschönen kleinen Kapelle und auf der Bisse bis Les Mayens-de-Sion und ab hier auf dem Wanderweg Abstieg nach La Vernaz

Distanz: 23.4 Km, 470 Hm Aufstieg, 470 Hm Abstieg

Start: 10.15 La Vernaz

Ende: 16.55 La Vernaz

Zustand: Alle Wege problemlos, der Aufstieg von Plan Désert nach Planchouet ist steil und nicht besonders attraktiv (Strassenabschnitt)

Bemerkungen: Eine gemütliche Schlussrunde mit einem relativ langweiligen Mittelstück

Die Bisse de Salins wurde 1436 erstmals erwähnt. Sie ist sehr abwechslungsreich, sowohl was die Landschaften und Vegetation wie auch die Bauweise betrifft. Sehr interessant die auf Metallstützen verlaufende Kännelpartie wie auch die absolut sehenswerte Brücke über die Ogeintse.

Die Bisse d'En Bas (oder Bisse de Dessous) ist sehr alt und wurde vor dem Jahr 1390 gebaut. Durch ihren Verlauf und die Schattenlage wachsen hier ganz spezielle Pflanzen, die man sonst sehr selten enlang der Bissen findet. Sie führt das ganze Jahr Wasser!

Die Bisse de Milieu wurde um 1700 gebaut. Sie ist nur im Sommer wasserführend, am Ende wird das Wasser in den Torrent du Tsablô geleitet, der früher 4 Wassermühlen, eine Walke, eine Sägerei und eine Gerberei angetrieben hat.

Die Grand Bisse de Vex wurde 1453 erbaut und war bis 1971 in Betrieb. Dank den Bemühungen der Société du Grand Bisse de Vex wurde sie wieder instand gesetzt und restauriert, seit 2001 fliesst wieder Wasser. Interessant hier sind vor allem die langen Passagen mit Bretterchänneln und die auf Pfeilern verlaufende Abschnitte. Sie wurde zwar aus touristischen Gründen wieder in Betrieb genommen, erfüllt aber auch wieder ihre alte Funktion zur Bewässerung der Wiesen und Felder oberhalb von Vex.
