11.09.2018 Von Grimentz nach Vercorin über die Bisse de Saint Jean und die Bisse des Sarrasins

Zustand: Die Bisse de Saint Jean ist bis Saint Jean eher aus touristischen Gründen minimal bewässert, aber gut begehbar, danach weiter problemlos
Der Wanderweg zwischen Mayoux und Pinsec ist weitgehend problemlos, der Aufstieg nach Pinsec und der Abstieg zur Sarrasins ist relativ steil und manchmal etwas rutschig
Der Weg entlang der Bisse des Sarrasins wurde im Sinne eines Lehrpfades entlang des ungefähren Verlaufes aufwändig restauriert, von der Bisse sieht man eigentlich kaum mehr etwas, die Holzkonstruktionen sind nach meinem Geschmack fast etwas zu sehr auf Sicherheit getrimmt. Das letzte Stück im Vallon de Crouje ist dann allerdings ziemlich exponiert, wem das zu gefährlich ist, kann diesen Abschnitt auf auf einem sicheren Weg umgehen
Der Aufstieg nach vVrcorin ist auf einem Wanderweg problemlos

Bemerkungen: Eine Wanderung, von der ich mir etwas mehr erwartet habe, die frühere Begehung der Bisse des Sarrasins war ein echtes Abenteuer mit minimal gesicherten Bretterpassagen (vgl. Die Bissen und Suonen im Wallis), heute ist das Ganze doch etwas zu stark ausgebaut .

Die Grand Bisse de Saint Jean wurde ursprünglich in der Gougra gefasst. Die Bisse wurde vor einiger Zeit stillgelegt, 2012 aber wieder in Betrieb genommen. Heute wird das Wasser im Torrent du Marais gefasst und auf den ersten paar hudert Metern in Rohre gefasst. Danach fliesst sie bis Saint Jeean offen, aber sehr spärlich und eher aus touristischen Gründen. Ab Saint Jean wird aus einem unterirdischen Zufluss mehr Wasser zugeleitet und sie fliesst in einem neu erstellten Bett. Ab hier erfüllt sie auch wieder ihren Zweck der Speisung von Beregnungsanlagen. Typisch sind hier die eingegrabenen Steinplatten zur Sicherung der Wände. Ebenso wurden neue Wasserverteiler aus Holz angebracht. Die Bisse endet im Torrent de Mayoux unterhalb eines Wasserfalles.

Die Bisse des Sarrasins ist in ihrer Geschichte legendenbehaftet. Manche Leute glauben, dass die Bisse im 10.Jahrhundert von Sarazenen gebaut wurde. Historiker datieren die Entstehung der Bisse allerdings ins 14. oder 15. Jahrhundert. Die Bisse wurde 1832 aufgegeben nach mehreren schweren Unfällen in der Gegend von Vercorin. Der erste Teil wurde noch bis 1922 weiter unterhalten, bis ein erneuter schwerer Murgang mehrere Todesopfer in Tarampon forderte. Die Fassung lag im Torrent de Pinsec, die Bisse erstreckte sich den Felswänden nach bis ins Vallon de Crouje und weiter über die steile Wand nach La Boua. Ab hier versorgte sie die Gegend oberhalb von Briey. Das Trassee des Endastes ab der Stelle, wo das Rohr der Bisse de Briey vom Pont de Niouc hochkommt, wird heute von der Bisse de Briey genutzt (vgl. Wanderung vom 06.09.2018). Das Wegstück davor kann auf einer Strecke von etwa 800 Metern begangen werden. Ab hier bis in den Talgrund des Vallon de Crouje ist der Verlauf abgesperrt und kann mit einem Bergführer (Circuit des 3 Bisses) begangen werden.
