03.09.2018 Ladu Suon und Tatz Giesch Suon im Jolital oberhalb von Hohtenn

Anfahrt: Réchy - Gampel-Steg - Hohtenn Station

Verlauf: Start bei Hohtenn Station, Aufstieg nach Ladu und über die Ladumatte auf die Spilbielalpji, Querung nach Mattachra, entlang der Ladu Suon über den Seebach und die Schlüsselstelle zum Entsander und zur Fassung. Auf dem Rückweg Abstecher zur neuerstellten Jolibachbrücke und Abstieg nach dem Entsander zur Jolialp. Kurz vor der Alp Abstecher zur Fassung der Tatz Giesch Suon.
Auf der Tatz Giesch Suon zur Schlüsselstelle kurz vor dem Seebach. Kurze Kraxelpassage an fixen Ketten, kurz darauf zur Jolitalstrasse, ab hier ist die Suon verrohrt. Abstieg nach Tatz und weiter nach Hohtenn Station, kurzer Abstecher zum Aussichtspunkt auf den Lüegilchi-Viadukt. Kurz vor Hohtenn Station Kreuzung mit dem Endast der Giesch Suon

Start: 09.25 Hohtenn Station

Ende: 17.00 Hohtenn Station

Zustand: Die Querung von der Spilbielalpji nach Mattachra ist stellenweise etwas ausgesetzt, aber gut begehbar, allenfalls etwas schlecht markiert beim Einstieg
Die Ladu Suon ist einfach begehhbar, die Schlüsselstelle braucht Schwindelfreiheit, ebenso kurz vorher und kurz danach. trittsicherheit ist sicher notwendig!
Die Tatz Giesch Suon ist einfach bis auf die Kletterpassage, die aber mit Vorsicht gut passierbar ist.

Bemerkungen: Schöner Aufstieg im Lärchenwald, das Jolital ist sehr wild und einsam

Die Ladu Süe ist sehr alt, jedenfalls der älteste Kanal in dieser Region. Ursprünglich wurde das Wasser am Seebach gefasst, die Fassung wurde aber später wegen Wassermangels weiter an den Jolibach verlegt. Zwischen 1964 und 1969 verschüttete ein kolossaler Erdrutsch grosse Teile der Suon im hinteren Teil, in dieser Zeit wurde das Wasser wieder am Seebach gefasst, wie auch bei unserer Wanderung, im Winter 2018 hatte eine Riesenlawine das Jolital bis weit nach unten in Mitleidenschaft gezogen.

Die Tatz Giesch Süe ist ein relativ komplexes System. Sie wurde 1920 erstellt. Die Tatz Giesch Suone fasst ihr Wasser am Jolibach oberhalb der Jolialp. Die Passage des Seebachs wurde verrohrt verlegt, später am Jolitalweg ist sie bis zur Kreuzung mit der Strasse nach Mattachra verrohrt, danach offen. Zuerst zweigt dann die Tatz Suone ab, die den Weiler Tatz mit Wasser versorgt. Der Rest fliesst weiter als Giesch Suone nach Westen und wird oberhalb des Tannilwald ins Bachbett der Luegilchi geleitet. Weiter unten wird das Wasser wieder von der Giesch Suone gefasst und nach Westen geleitet. Etwas weiter unten und auf der andern Bachseite wurde früher nach Osten Wasser über die Lidu Süe geleitet und der kleine Weiler Lidu versorgt. Aus der Giesch Suone, die den Weiler Giesch unterhalb von Hohtenn Station versorgt, wird zusätzlich die Grossi Wasserleiti abgezweigt, die weiter nach Westen Richtung Hohtenn führt.
